PAINTING PARTIES
Each year we make what could be a chore into a party, at the Swansons' barn in the country outside of Dallas, where everyone has fun—this time painting the scenery for the upcoming Samboree Saturday night show.
 SCENERY PAINT DATES – 2011 are Wednesdays and Saturdays—March 23, 26 and 30; April 20, 23 and 27; May 18 and 21.
Start time is between 9:30 and 10:00 and we usually finish in the early afternoon following lunch. Everyone brings their own lunch and we provide drinks and donuts! There will be a sign up sheet at the October Rally and chapters are invited to bring their RVs and stay on our property (some electricity & water availability). Sign up early and get your best choice!!
It is lots of fun and so far everyone who has been involved has loved it! No talent required and there is a task for everyone—tall or short, talented or not, color blind or cannot draw a straight line, everyone is welcome.

DOG WALK - Public event for the benefit of Dogs for the Deaf, the Dog Walk is sponsored by Oregon Good Sam and will be held at the Timber Linn Park in Albany, Oregon. Everyone is encouraged to gain pledges from their friends and family to support the walking of a dog on the Dog Walk. Included in the day’s activities are a Dog Walk of variable length, Hot Dog Barbecue lunch, door prizes, contest prizes for dogs and owners in various categories and opportunities to hear about the national Good Sam charity, Dogs for the Deaf.
